As an individual passing through the different stages of life, you cannot help but ponder on a lot of issues, confronting your day to day existence in this highly intricate and technological world.
As what Abraham Maslow, one of my favorite humanistic psychologists strongly upholds, each individual is capable of achieving his maximum potential and to be self - actualized. Our sense of self gradually unfolds as we grow and develop into a mature human being in touch with the realities of life. The different factors which impacts our life and our personality anchored on the various context we are exposed to, provides a positive and negative impact in the process of becoming fully human.
Similarly, our past experiences with our family, friends, neighbor, community and the world, adds a significant ounce of who and what we are now. Our dealings with the people we come in contact with consciously and unconsciously " shapes" our attitude and most importantly-our personality.
A kick in our personality, is strengthening and fine-tuning each aspect of ourself so that it impacts our life in overwhelmingly positive and productive way.
For years as an educational psychologists, I tried to maximize opportunities that comes my way as well as experiences that offer tangible insights that could add value to myself and to my chosen profession in order to become effective as well as efficient and to " touch" others lives positively.
